1. Who (are you?), What (do you for a living?), Where (do you live?)

Hey, firstly I really wanna thank you for this interview.

My name is Tobias, I live in France in the suburbs of Paris. I work in the food industry, as a team manager, since a few years now. We provide delivery food.

2. When did your love for sneakers start and why do you love sneakers so much?

As far as I remember,I think, I always love sneakers,watching movies,rap videos clip, and the older guys in the streets or school yards. I grew up in the hip-hop culture, listening rap from my childhood, watching graffiti in the streets or the subway, sneakers is part of all this culture. It was a  kind obvious to like sneakers!!

3. Do you remember your first pair of sneakers? Which pair was it?

I got a lot of models but I can’t remember their names, sadly, because I really want to see them again. But yes I can remember the first pair I have to fought a lot with my mum to get one, it was a pair of BW, I think I fought month and month before I get one. (My mum never likes sneakers and even more Nike ones) haha

4. What’s your favorite brand and model?

Now I have says all this, it’s easy to guess that my favorite brand is Nike, but I like also other brands, firstly I’m a sneaker lover, I think it’s kind of sad to stay focus in only one brand. I really appreciate ASICS’s work, they have really good shapes and colors. Reebok for me it’s a really og brand too, I love a lot of models they made. But we can say it, Nike is my favorite, and the Air max 1 of course it’s my best model all time!! Since two years I try to only focus on this model… I have no more space…

5. How many sneakers do you have in your collection?

It’s been a wile without counting, I will say something like 180/190pairs maybe… but I’m not sure… maybe few more few less.

6. What’s your favorite pair from your collection?

Huuum this one is not easy… Maybe the master or maybe the HOA… or maybe.. one id’s… I think a lot… can’t decide…

7. Which pair(s) are still on your wish list?

This one is more easy, because I still have a lot!! All of the first collab with Patta, more particularly the Chlorophyll or denim corduroy, Urawas, brs, the viotech… a lot.. a really love old air max 1…

8. Do you have a favorite sneakerstore or -shop?

I have to admit that I buy a lot on the web, is much easier, not saying  I won all the raffle! Aha

But yes most of the time I buy on internet, but my favorite shops are : Afew store, footshop, starcow here in Paris, sns, asphalt gold, obviously I buy some resell… I go to StockX or vinted..

9. Which brand and / or model would you never wear in your life? And why is that?

As I say in the beginning of the interview, I’m a sneaker lover and I like a lot of models, I think, feelings are always moving, we never know, maybe one day we love a brand or a model and years after an other brand or an other shape, one thing it’s true, I always loved air max 1 et I’m quite sure I will always love air max 1!! But for exemple I never be a great fan of the yeezy but I totally understand the love of the people for this pair.

10. Which sneaker in your collection was the hardest to find/get?

Maybe the Airmax 1 master or HOA..

11. What advice would you like to give to new sneakerheads?

For me, the most important is to buy and rock pairs we really love, for the shape, the color bloc, the story behind, or what else, but love is the most important, buying pairs because they’re hype, or worst for resell is not good in my point of view.. leave them for the real lovers of sneakers….

 12. What has been your biggest steal ever?

Still waiting for an amazing one! Haha

Was not a big steal, but found an airmax1 og red anniversary in store, a year after was a really good surprise.

I spend few hours by day… depends the moments, maybe I spent more time in the weekends, maybe one or two hours by day at least.

Most of the time on Instagram.

14. How do your loved ones feel about your sneaker lifestyle?

My family understand the passion about it but they don’t understand why I’m always buying new stuff, I encourage some of my friend to buy sneakers too… the looks me a little bit like an ufo but all good for me. Haha.
